Dear fellow wine lovers, Today I have something really special to ask you!

I may have already told you about our WeinWald project at Staffelter Hof (www.weinwald.de)

—  this summer we’re finally taking the next big step! Alongside all the work we’ve been doing to create more biodiversity and resilience in our vineyard, the planting projects of the past few years, and the daily care for our vines, shrubs, and trees, we’re now creating the WeinWald Meeting Place: a space for people to connect with nature and celebrate community together.

It’s going to become a beautiful picnic spot surrounded by our PIWI vines and our olive and nut tree paradise — almost like a natural amphitheater. We’re also building a small forest stage for wonderful events, plus a dry-stone wall that will create even more habitat for beneficial insects and wildlife. Of course, there’ll also be an outdoor kitchen, and the whole place is being designed to be inclusive from the very beginning.

And the best part: you’ll be able to enjoy and discover the WeinWald Meeting Place anytime together with your friends and family as a new place to experience nature.

To make all of this happen, we applied to the local bank’s “Viele schaffen mehr” initiative. They support exactly these kinds of community projects: you submit your idea, and once you gather enough supporters, you’re allowed to enter the fundraising phase. The amazing thing is: the bank adds an extra €10 for every donor who contributes to our project!

Last week was the official launch — and it was incredible: within just 24 hours, we reached the 50 supporters we needed to get going! Since then, we’ve officially been able to collect donations.

So today I wanted to ask you personally:
